Version 0.2.0 Release

TLDR:
- New update released
- Roughly doubles the size of the game in terms of total playable content
- Old saves will not be compatible with this new build, so you'll need to fresh start
- If you don't want to replay the stuff you've done in the past, there's a "Jump Start" function in the Preference Selection that will jump you straight to the new content.
- Screenshots of a few of the new scenes in the game for teaser fun.

Hey y'all! Boy, this has been a while coming...

Sorry for how long this took to get out. Life was a little... uncooperative - for a while there when it came to working on the game.  I won't bother with my personal life dramas though - let's talk about the new update.

The new update expands the story by an amount that's pretty similar in total to the original build, for a total of about 4 hours  of new content (I think). The most important update is the complete implementation of the games full combat system, in addition to first draft implementations of a tonne of the supporting systems of the game (such as Tutorial Menus, difficulty settings, content filters & randomness settings).

Narratively, the next section of story is a little bit lower stakes than the initial Prologue, as Vince & Lilith get to grips with their new situation and take their first steps towards their new ambitions - but I'm still very happy with the entertainment value of what I've created. 2 new main girls make their first appearance in the story, and there's 1 new H-scene (though it could easily have been split into - like - 6 separate scenes with how beefy it is).

In terms of development - I'm very unsatisfied with how long it took to get this next section complete and out to players - but on the positive side I've developed a lot of new skills during the making of this section that I think will help a lot with future content creation. I've also caught up on a lot of the Tech Debt I'd left myself when I cobbled together my first build of the game.

As for disclaimers: Old saves will not be compatible with this new build. That's because reworking a tonne of the backend of the game meant a tonne of changes to the game's database. I strongly recommend starting a new playthrough rather than porting an old save - if you don't want to replay the content from the first build again, the game includes a JumpStart feature during the Preference Setting section that can let you skip straight to the new content.

There's still a tonne of work to be done even on the content that's already in the game - like a full rebalancing of the long term stat progression for characters, and a few changes to dialogue conversations I still have yet to get around to implementing in the Prologue section of the game - but that will have to wait until further down the line. Finding the fine line between improving on existing content vs making new content will probably always be a challenge, and for now, this is where I'm drawing that line.

Special thanks to the people who volunteered their time with beta-testing this build (both those in the Godspawn Discord and otherwise)  before I published it. Unfortunately I made a tonne of minor fixes/changes to stuff AFTER that cycle of testing had concluded so... there's unfortunately a high chance I broke the game somehow right AFTER people found everything that was broken :P

If anyone runs into any issues or has any questions - feel free to hit me up here (or - more reliably - in the Godpsawn Discord) and I'll do whatever I can to help.

Aside from that - thank you for taking the time to read this if you did - and I hope you enjoy the new content if you play it!
Please consider rating the game, sharing it around, leaving a comment and/or joining the discord if you feel like it. I appreciate everyone who plays my game, but I'm not above saying those who offer useful feedback or contribute to increasing the game's spread are especially appreciated <3.
